Wakeboarding in Brunei

Recently I had the opportunity to visit the small but rich country of Brunei. Located in south east Asia on the north coast of the island of Borneo. I was able to organise a bit of a wakeboard session in the ocean near the hotel i was staying in. The water was a bit rough and filled with rubbish and debris, however the water house village nearby povided for an excellent backdrop.

Big Gap Jump

A few Weeks ago, whilst on the Trampa Euro Tour, we visited Winterberg Mountainboard Park for a competition. We discovered that they had built a new massive jump, a 9ft high take off, 15ft high landing, and a 45ft gap from the takeoff to landing.
When we visited last time the weather was not up to scratch adn we were unable to get the speed to do the jump, so no attempts were made.
However myself and Fellow team mate, James sleigh were determined to Return to conquor the beast.

When we arrived we noticed that the landing and run in and suffered quite a lot of Rain damage, so after several hours raking, and shoveling the jump was preped and ready to go. The conditions at this point of time were absolutely perfect... no wind.. no clouds, and perfectly dry ground

It was time to hit the beast.

DIRTY DREAMS

So its under 3 weeks until i am off to europe for mountainboarding / video production / good times, and i decided to make a start on my new mountainboarding film titled "dirty dreams".

The Film will start here in Melbourne Australia showcasing the riding scene and vibe, but will also be filmed in UK, Ireland, Portugal, France and Belgium over the coming months.
